For the French Angora enthusiasts:  French Angora fiber is lovely fluff for spinning, knitting, crochet and other fiber crafts. The kits in our litters are well handled and most get shown as juniors if they are with us long enough to attend a show.

Their beautiful fur is posted in our Etsy store (heartsongllamas) for your purchase, which is where you'll find our llama rovings and yarn as well. The angora wool makes really lovely, incredibly soft yarn!

Rabbit Sales Policy

Rabbit(s) you have purchased need to be weaned and at least 8 weeks of age before they can leave for their new homes.
We will provide a 3-day supply of the food that the rabbit has been eating so that you can transition your new rabbit gradually over to the food you will be feeding him/her.
Rabbits are sold with pedigrees unless stated otherwise. The young French Angoras are $75 - $100 each unless noted otherwise. Your rabbit(s) should be paid for in full before leaving the farm. If you plan to pay on date of pick-up, please pay in cash or use PayPal.

The Polish rabbits are sold as juniors for between $30 and $60 depending on quality and credentials and/or credentials of the parents.

For our French Angoras, we recommend a minimum cage size of 30 X 36 if you are using cages. We also highly recommend that you set up an exercise area for your rabbits. We let our rabbits out for exercise on a daily basis in our horse stalls or in puppy play pens.

While we do our utmost to feed and care for our rabbits, we do not make any guarantees on the sex, color or health of a rabbit you have purchased from Heartsong Rabbitry. Please know that you are fully responsible for your rabbit as soon as it leaves Heartsong Rabbitry and refunds are not provided should it become sick or die while in your care.

We do our best to accurately list the color of a rabbit on a pedigree, but we don't hold responsibility for a color that is listed inaccurately for one of our rabbits or for a rabbit further back in the pedigree of a rabbit we're selling.

Angora colors are not always easy to determine and not every breeder has the same ability to understand color genetics. Please know this going into your purchase - that your rabbit might have a rabbit back in its pedigree that had a color listed incorrectly, and we might never even know about it.

You can reserve your new rabbit(s) for a $10 deposit per rabbit. This is
non-refundable unless your reserved rabbit should become sick and/or die during
the time it is on reserve. If you want to pay via PayPal, please send to this
email (vickie maris at gmail dot com - with no spaces). If you have paid for your rabbit in full and if it should become sick or if it should die while it is still in our care, we will provide a refund of your purchase.

Please be prepared that your rabbit will need proper shelter from the elements and a way to keep cool when temperatures rise above about 80 degrees F. We keep fans in our rabbitry in the summer and also use clay tiles (chilled in the freezer) for the buns to lay on to get cool. The French Angoras can be plucked or sheared (depends on coat of rabbit) about every 3 to 4 months. We keep their coats pretty short in the heat of the summer, and then let them grow again in the fall, winter and spring months.
